This Privacy Policy explains how VitalStackFit collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the VitalStackFit iPhone app. Apple Watch metrics can be included when available through Apple Health permissions. VitalStackFit is a wellness trends app for software engineers and gamers. It is informational only and is not medical advice.

1. Who We Are

VitalStackFit is provided by TorqueTrail, owned and operated by Yogesh Rajendra Jadhav ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Scope

This policy applies to the VitalStackFit iPhone app, including Apple Health / HealthKit integration and optional Apple Watch-derived metrics.

3. Data We Access

With your explicit permission, VitalStackFit may read the following Apple Health data:

• Sleep analysis
• Heart rate
• Resting heart rate
• Heart rate variability (HRV)
• Heart-rate recovery
• Respiratory rate
• Blood oxygen
• Environmental sound exposure
• Active energy
• Steps
• Mindful sessions
• Stand hours
• Workouts

VitalStackFit also accesses user-generated app data, including:

• Daily check-ins (energy, focus, stress, coding quality)
• In-app settings
• Reminder preferences

4. Data We Store

VitalStackFit is designed for on-device/local-first operation where possible. App trend calculations and settings are intended to function locally on your device.

If backend services are used, they should be limited to the minimum required for app functionality and should follow this policy.

5. Data We Do Not Sell

We do not sell personal data or health data. We do not share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. How We Use Data

We use data to:

• Generate informational wellness trends, signals, and summaries inside the app
• Support app features you enable, including optional Apple Watch-derived metrics and local weekly reminders
• Enable user-requested sharing through iOS share sheet export
• Provide and improve core app reliability and usability

7. HealthKit Compliance

Health data accessed through Apple HealthKit is used only to provide app functionality and for user-requested sharing. Health data is not used for advertising, marketing profiling, or sold to data brokers.

8. Social Sharing

Social sharing is user-initiated only. When you choose to share a generated card or text, that content is shared through Apple's share sheet to the destination you select.

9. Notifications

VitalStackFit uses local notifications for weekly trend reminders. Notifications are optional and can be configured or disabled in app settings and iOS settings.

The app may also attempt a best-effort background refresh to update reminder text using on-device Health data and app data already available on your device. Background refresh timing and availability depend on iOS and are not guaranteed.

10. Apple Intelligence Features

On compatible Apple devices with supported software versions, VitalStackFit may offer optional Apple Intelligence features to help summarize or explain your existing wellness trends in clearer language.

These features are supportive only. They do not replace the app's core trend calculations, do not provide medical advice, and are not required for the main app experience.

Where Apple's supported on-device or private processing applies, VitalStackFit is intended to align with those platform capabilities. Availability and processing behavior can vary based on device compatibility, settings, language, region, and software version.

11. Subscriptions and Payments

VitalStackFit offers Pro Monthly and Pro Yearly plans via Apple In-App Purchase. Payment processing, renewal management, and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms and policies.

12. Analytics and SDKs

Analytics/SDKs currently used: None.

13. Retention

We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and enforcement of agreements. Local app data retention may depend on your device settings, app deletion, and Apple platform behavior.

14. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to reduce risk and protect user data.

15. International Transfers

If any data is processed outside your country, we take steps intended to provide lawful transfer protections under applicable law, including GDPR and UK GDPR transfer mechanisms where required.

16. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, or request portability.

For users in the EEA/UK: we process data under lawful bases such as consent and legitimate interests where applicable, and you may have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
